David Lofthouse - Founder

David Lofthouse - Founder

Visionary and driven, David had an incredibly successful 20-year investment banking career focusing on emerging markets.  As an entrepreneur, he has invested in numerous ventures, including a luxury restaurant and has an exemplary understanding of the role of property in an asset portfolio. A confident leader and team player, David has made good on his belief that success is based on hard work, merit and determination.

David founded Lofthouse Residences after developing two bespoke, accessible luxury residences. Having undertaken the process, he realised there was an opportunity to reinvigorate luxury home development to create a concierge service that would transform the experience in terms of innovation, creativity, cost, and quality.

Paul Beaney - Strategic Director

Articulate, highly regarded and with more than 30 years of experience in the industry, Paul is rightly recognised as a leading figure in the UK premium homebuilding sector. Paul began his career at Berkeley Homes before joining then-nascent executive housebuilder Millgate Homes in 1996. In his role as Managing Director, Paul was part of the ambitious management team that fostered rapid growth, ultimately seeing it purchased by listed housebuilder Countryside.

After a short period of retirement (in which he built his own luxury family home near Ascot), Paul has joined Lofthouse Residences as our inaugural Strategic Director. He advises the business on high-level strategic direction, providing a wealth of valuable insight into sourcing suppliers, sub-contractors, architectural contacts, land agents, and an array of valuable ancillary support.

Jason Nightingale - Developments Director

Intelligent, ambitious, and with over three decades of construction industry experience, Jason's career has encompassed Luxury Residential market luminaries such as Royalton, Finesse Construction and Phoenix Park Developments. During this time, he has managed a multitude of bespoke multi-million-pound projects ranging from 6,000sq ft to 18,000sq ft. These are located in some of the country’s most prestigious areas, including St Georges Hill, The Crown Estate, Oxshott and Burwood Park, with clients including elite sports stars, musicians and CEO’s.

Headhunted by Lofthouse Residences, Jason's responsibility as Development Director is to oversee and manage all our prestigious projects, ensuring they are built on time, on budget and to our exacting and exceptional quality standards, with an emphasis on sustainability and being best in class.

Ann Lofthouse - HR & Operations Manager

Ann Lofthouse - HR & Operations Manager

Sharp, with an inquiring mind and prodigious attention to detail, Ann's successful career started in the world of banking, with roles in financial advice and management. This expertise was put to excellent use, enabling a move into high-level finance and accounting recruitment for investment behemoths such as Citibank, Deutsche Bank, Merrill Lynch and technology giant NTL.

After taking a career break, she played a significant role in developing two bespoke, accessible homes while raising two beautiful children. Ann's focus is now on talent acquisition, retention, and systems management in the demanding Lofthouse Residences HR & Operations Manager role.

Astute, considered, and solutions-oriented, James’ career has taken him to the highest echelons of construction heavy weights Ardmore, Lancsville, O’ Keefe Group and Deep Group. Experience working at every level of the industry has provided him with an intimate and encyclopaedic knowledge of the built environment. With a sharp eye for detail, safety and value engineering, James has been responsible for delivering a multitude of multi-million pound projects for numerous tier one prestigious contractors.

As Partner of Lofthouse Construction Services, James’ rigorous approach and methodical actions bring groundbreaking levels of innovation, value and sustainable quality into the construction business.

Steve Carmichael - Commercial Director

Steve Carmichael - Commercial Director

Smart, diligent and quality focused, Steve has accumulated a wealth of experience in every aspect of the built environment. developing strong team leadership, commercial negotiations and managerial skills. Having begun his career at Lovell Homes, he moved diligently from trainee Quality Surveyor to Senior Surveyor. Learning quickly, he joined renowned executive house builders Millgate Homes and Renoir Estates progressing to Commercial Manager, before taking the Managing Director position at Quantum Merit Associates (QMA).

In his role as Commercial Director, Steve is immersed in every aspect of our process, from acquisition to completion, encompassing land purchase appraisals, planning, surveying, health & safety, quality control, cost reporting and risk management..

Daniel Sheppard

Daniel Sheppard - Projects Director

Knowledgeable, attentive, and rigorous, Daniel has over 35 years of experience in the construction industry, with a specialist, qualified expertise in Carpentry and Joinery. His career has spanned a multitude of prestigious companies and luxury developments for a range of discerning and exclusive clients, including CEOs, Royalty, celebrities, and Premiership football players.

A master craftsman, manager and negotiator with a wealth of experience leading teams, Daniel's position as Projects Director capitalises on his excellence at building relationships with our clients, skilled team, suppliers and contractors.

Eva Simon - Finance Manager

Eva Simon - Finance Manager

Highly numerate, astute, and with exceptional analytical skills, Eva specialised in diplomacy at university and attained a degree in International Economics. With an interest in property, both personally and professionally, she has worked for more than ten years in accounting and financial management in the residential development sector. Eager for continuous improvement, Eva is currently studying to be a chartered accountant (ACCA).

As our Finance Manager, she is responsible for the studious fiscal management of the company and ensuring that, in line with our mission, all our contractors and suppliers are paid promptly.

Stuart Hills - Innovation Director

Stuart Hills - Innovation Director

Imaginative, energetic and ingenious, Stuart has originated brand, advertising, digital and marketing creative for a diverse array of global titans such as Disney/Pixar, Oxford University and Sir Robert McAlpine. Diversified and adjacent roles and consultancies have included Chief Innovation Officer in structural insurance to working with Tier 1 contractors and suppliers in the built environment on digital strategy, app development, data management and analysis.

Stuart's role as Innovation Director involves extensive research, development and implementation of new ideas promoting modern working methods, utilising cutting-edge materials, products, processes and technology.

Lindsay Reid - Client & Interiors Manager

Lindsay Reid - Client & Interiors Manager

Enthusiastic, creative and ruthlessly organised, Lindsay started her relationship, client & project management career in the Financial Sector, organising activities and events across Europe and Asia Pacific. After returning to the UK, she embarked on a new direction; Property renovation, while qualifying as an interior designer and becoming a member of the British Institute of Interior Design.

Lindsay's role as Client & Interiors Manager is to ensure, as part of our esteemed concierge service, a seamless transition of our client’s visions and expectations into an extraordinary reality.

Intuitive, pragmatic, and process-oriented, James has worked across the entire brand and marketing mix in both agency and client-side senior roles, spanning over 25 years. Representing a broad mix of global brands such as Barclays, IMG, and Hewlett Packard Enterprises, through to highly ambitious start-ups and SME brands, James has led high-impact, brand-led marketing campaigns that drive commercial growth and build long-term customer retention.

In his role as Marketing Director, James has instigated class-leading marketing strategies that deliver long-term customer value and drive the business forward. His deep, rigorous, process-driven approach to marketing, coupled with a clear vision for a first-class customer experience, is evident at every step of the Lofthouse Residences customer journey.
